Bacon Jalapeno Poppers
My Bacon Jalapeno Poppers are a must-have game-day snack!
What’s a super bowl party without jalapeno poppers? Add a little bacon and you're definitely in store for a treat. These apps are super easy to whip up and will be sure to have your party guest cheering, no touchdown needed. The spiciness from the jalapenos and the creaminess from the cheese mixture will have you popping these bad boys back-to-back.
Pro tip: Bake your jalapenos on a baking rack to ensure even heating and crispiness all around.

Jalapenos

cream cheese

shredded cheddar cheese

onion powder

garlic powder

dried cilantro

fresh ground pepper
Instructions

Place a oven safe baking rack inside of a baking sheet. Set aside. Preheat oven to 400.

Cook bacon to desired crispiness. Allow to cool then chop into small bits. Set aside.

Chop the stem off of each jalapeno ( optional).

Cut the jalapeno lengthwise down the middle. Using a small spoon, scoop the seeds and insides from each jalapeno. Discard seeds and membranes. Set hollow jalapenos aside.

In a mixing bowl, mix softened cream cheese, chopped bacon, seasonings, and shred cheese. Stir until evenly mixed.

Using a rubber spatula, fill the inside of each jalapeno half with the cream cheese mixture.

Place each cream cheese filled jalapeno on top of the baking rack prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 20 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!
