Easy Homemade Pizza Sauce

Yields: 8 Servings Difficulty: Easy Prep Time: 3 Mins

A pizza night with family or friends is the perfect kickoff to a great weekend in. Homemade pizza is a budget-friendly and fun way to feed a large crowd while appeasing picky eaters. Everyone has the chance to be creative and add the toppings that please their palate.  What’s one thing that can take a pizza from “it’s pizza” to “Wow! I actually made pizza!”?  It’s all about the sauce.

This homemade pizza sauce is easy to make, flavorful, and requires no heat. All you have to do is mix and apply sauce generously to your favorite dough. I love a good flatbread pizza. Check out my recipe for a delicious herbed flatbread.  Top with your favorite toppings & enjoy!

Any extra sauce should be stored in an airtight container and refrigerated. Pizza sauce can be stored for up to 2 weeks. To give it an extra kick feel free to add a bit of cayenne pepper or red crushed peppers. What toppings are you using with this tasty sauce? I’m a fan of BLT but I would love to give your favorites a try! Leave them in the comments below.
