Chu’s Foggy Christmas Eve Wine Cocktail

Yields: 1 Serving Difficulty: Easy Prep Time: 5 Mins

Looking for the perfect holiday drink? Look no further, Chu’s got you covered. My wine cocktail is the perfect addition to your holiday celebration, forewarning after 1 or 2 of these…memories of that night tends to get a little foggy.

My holiday drink is the perfect amount of sweetness and alcohol with a refreshing taste of peppermint, after all, ‘tis the season. This drink is served martini served up. That’s just a fancy way to say after shaking or stirring the liquid ingredients together, it should be served in a chilled martini glass. The easiest way to chill your glassware is to simply place a room temperature martini glass in the freezer for 30 minutes to 3 hours. This will give you the perfect cold and frosty glass.

Once the alcoholic mixture is transferred to a martini glass, add a candy cane inside the glass and enjoy. Allow the candy cane to remain inside the glass while you enjoy your drink. Trust me,  the flavor only gets better as it slowly dissolves. Enjoy!
